Ian Neuss:     We prepared for this big trip by driving the 1920 Dodge Tourer across Australia in July (winter) 2013, from Sydney to Perth, taking mostly unsealed roads, through such iconic outback towns as Birdsville, Oodnadatta, and Alice Springs.   We tested the car's ability on difficult roads, as well as its mechanical soundness, or more correctly to see if my restoration was as good as the original construction and whether everything went back in its correct place and was tightened sufficiently.
See here for some photos.

A full history of this car has been posted on the Vintage Vehicle Club of Australia’s web site: See here for more great photos.

Bill Amann:    This 1927 Willys Overland Whippet is a great car.  It's been driven around Western Australia for some time.  It is a Model 96, 4 cylinder, weighing 980kg.
